Current students and recent graduates of Georgia State University are not eligible to submit. GSU graduates become eligible to submit once 5 years have passed since graduation.

For poetry: Submit up to 3 poems per submission. Poems may be no longer than 50 lines each. This includes translations as well.
For fiction: Submit 1 story per submission. Stories may be no longer than 7500 words. This includes translations as well.
For nonfiction: Submit 1 story per submission. Stories may be no longer than 7500 words. This includes translations as well.
For flash: Submit 1 flash fiction piece per submission no longer than 500 words in length. This includes translations as well.
For comics: Submit 1 comic per submission.
Please allow up to 5 weeks to receive your issue due to our offices being closed for winter break.
Length: Up to 500 words maximum.
Limit: Submit one flash piece per submission.
Previously published work (in any format) will not be considered for publication. Only electronic submissions will be considered. Simultaneous submissions are accepted.

We will be considering work for publication in our Flash Fiction issue, which will be published in May 2026 and will be guest edited by Josh Russell.
